Meet Krissy, the Founder
Pictured here at age 10 with adopted dog, Snuggles.
Krissy graduated in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and currently serves as an Emergency Medical Technician in Silicon Valley, where she is gaining critical patient care experience in preparation for pursuing a graduate degree as a Physician Assistant. Alongside her professional path, she faithfully serves on the KRIS Foundation Board as Secretary, contributing to the strategic direction and accountability of the organization.
Krissy’s life is a powerful reflection of the mission she now helps lead. Adopted from the Philippines at just 22 months old and raised in a Christian home, her story came full circle at the age of six during her first return visit to her orphanage. That encounter—meeting children who shared her beginnings—ignited a lifelong calling to give back.
Today, Krissy remains deeply committed to serving orphans and disadvantaged children, offering both leadership and personal dedication to the cause. Her journey is a living testimony of transformation—demonstrating how love, faith, and opportunity can change a life and, in turn, impact many more. Through her service, she helps ensure that every child at KRIS has the same hope for a brighter future.

Meet Lirio, the Co-Founder, President &CEO
Lirio has had a flourishing career in high technology industries for 25+ years , both in Silicon Valley and abroad. She spent 3 years with her family in South Korea to take on an expatriate corporate assignment for a world-renowned company.
Lirio always has a heart for mission work. Following the adoption of her daughter, Krissy, she thought of dedicating some of her time and resources to charity. Inspired by her young daughter’s embrace of philanthropy, Lirio made a major decision to leave her Silicon Valley career to dedicate her life in helping turn her daughter’s philanthropic ideas and dreams into reality.
